Roseville, CA (July 1, 2024) –

DCA Partners is thrilled to present the annual L5 Investments Capital Cup golf tournament, the largest charitable event in the Sacramento region after the Big Day of Giving. This year marks the monumental 10th anniversary celebration of the Capital Cup, commemorating a remarkable decade of philanthropy with the ambitious goal of raising an impressive $2,024,000 for local charities.

Over the past decade, this prestigious golf tournament has raised more than $15 million for more than 92 deserving charities in the region. The Capital Cup stands out not just for its competitive spirit but also for its charitable mission. Each participant champions a charity of their choice through personal fundraising efforts, ensuring the event benefits a diverse array of causes within the region. Established in 2015, the Capital Cup stands out from traditional charity golf tournaments by ensuring that 100% of the funds raised go directly to the supported charities. This is made possible through the generosity of sponsors who cover all operational costs, transforming the event into a unique community initiative in Sacramento. “What began as an ambitious goal to raise $150,000 in our first year has blossomed into an enduring legacy of giving that embodies the true essence of the Capital Cup,” said Curt Rocca, the founder of the event. “As we reflect on a decade of impact, we are humbled by the overwhelming support from our players, sponsors, and the Sacramento community, which has propelled us to new philanthropic heights year after year.”

We are honored to have L5 Investments as our title sponsor again this year. “The Capital Cup stands as a shining example of how sports can drive positive change in our community. This event uniquely combines healthy competition with meaningful philanthropy, allowing us to directly support those in need right here in our community. We’re honored to be part of such an impactful initiative that showcases the best of our region’s generous spirit” said Michael Flaherty, Founder of L5 Investments and the Flaherty IMPACT Foundation.

This year’s milestone 10th anniversary celebration will bring together 32 of Sacramento’s most esteemed C-suite executives, entrepreneurs and donors for three days of competitive golf and unparalleled generosity. Participants will raise funds and awareness for some of the area’s most vital nonprofit organizations, continuing the Capital Cup’s legacy of substantial community impact.

About L5 Investments:

L5 Real Estate Investments is a boutique investment firm located in El Dorado Hills, CA with direct ownership and management of a $1.3B multifamily portfolio totaling over 7,300 apartment units nationwide. L5 Investments specializes in improving the value of well-located multifamily properties in emerging, growth markets throughout the United States. Their seasoned reputation of trust and track record within the investor community allows them to deliver best in class investment opportunities that provide their clients consistent income, maximized tax advantages, an excellent hedge to inflation, and attractive long-term risk-adjusted returns. Investors benefit from quarterly cash distributions and tax-free refinance proceeds, often enabling them to recoup a substantial portion of their initial investment before project completion.

Multifamily investments are the #1 risk-adjusted, inflation-adjusted cash flow stream due to their lower risk profile relative to other real estate and alternative investments. They continue to benefit in 2024 and beyond from the continued rising demand for rental housing due to demographic trends, the current high interest rate environment affecting first time homeowners, limitations in housing supply due to regional political challenges, and rising costs of homeownership. Additionally, there are superior, low leverage financing terms for multifamily acquisitions, stability across economic cycles, direct investor ownership of tangible assets, and attractive tax benefits.
