Position Summary:

The Office Manager / Staff Accountant will manage all aspects of the office facility, including maintaining the office condition, and performing administrative tasks for team members and subtenants. In addition, the Office Manager will work directly with the Director of Marketing to assist with event planning (in-person and virtual) and the Chief Financial Officer to assist with accounting and human resource activities.

This role is based in Roseville, CA.


First Impressions

  • Welcome and host guests, provide information, answer queries, and direct visitors to the person they need to see
  • Answer telephone and transfer calls to the appropriate individuals
  • Demonstrate professionalism during all in-person, telephone, and online interactions

Accounting Support

  • Handle cash and simple accounting duties for multiple entities including processing of payables, client invoicing, and processing collections / deposits
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for all DCA entities
  • Assist with monthly / quarterly / annual reporting and compliance
  • Assist with various HR functions


  • Receive, distribute, and send mail, including items that may require shipping (FedEx)
  • Organize and maintain office files and records
  • Maintain adequate office supplies and re-stock as needed
  • Maintain breakroom area and facility office equipment (printers, copiers, postage meter)
  • Review and maintain availability of conference rooms for staff/client meetings, as well as coordination of meals and supplies needed for meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous office functions
  • Assist with the investor portal administration
  • Ensure a clean, orderly, and efficient office environment


  • Write a variety of forms, letters, reports, and memos
  • Proactively seek out areas of improvement and effectively communicate constructive suggestions
  • Assist with event planning including attendee communications, experience (in-person and virtual), and follow up


  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant
  • Two years accounting / bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook, in particular) and Quickbooks
  • Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., printers, copiers, and postage meters)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary a plus

Opportunity Summary

DCA Advisors (DCA) is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst to assist in the evaluation of future investment opportunities and overall portfolio reporting. We are in the process of creating a $500 million investment portfolio on behalf of family offices and long-term clients. The majority of the portfolio will be real estate oriented, with primary focus areas including value-added office and industrial properties, multi-family, student housing, mobile home parks, car washes, retail, and hotels. DCA is located in Roseville, CA, just outside of Sacramento. Positioned at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, about 1 hour from both Napa Valley to the west and Lake Tahoe to the east, Sacramento is quickly becoming recognized as one of the best places to live on the West Coast. This is a ground-floor opportunity to contribute to the development and success of a multi-million dollar real estate investment strategy, and build a long-term career in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will currently live in the Sacramento area or have significant ties to the region.

Role and Responsibilities

The Real Estate Investment Analyst will provide analytical support on a wide variety of assignments including market research, review of property operating statements, cash flow modeling, and property valuation. The analyst will be responsible for assisting with modeling and evaluation of new investment opportunities, conducting sensitivity analysis, assessing risks and mitigating factors for potential investments, and assisting with due-diligence review.

Key Duties Include

  • Developing and exploring ideas for potential buy and sell opportunities
  • Identifying properties and the appropriate contacts which meet a defined target criteria
  • Conducting market, financial, and due diligence analyses of identified properties
  • Conducting outreach and communications with potential developers, brokers, and operating partners
  • Analyzing financial and operating data to assess portfolio and individual investment operating performance; identifying areas requiring attention and suggesting remedial action
  • Participating in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Evaluating markets to identify changes and trends and related impacts on real estate values and investment strategies
  • Maintaining asset management models for each asset from acquisition through disposition
  • Advising on potential timing for refinancing and disposition of acquired Assets

Candidate Profile

DCA dedicates a great deal of effort to hire individuals who have a demonstrated track record of outstanding academic and professional achievement. Eligible candidates should have at least 3-4 years of experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. A Bachelor’s degree is required in accounting, finance, real estate, or related subjects. In addition, candidates should exhibit a strong orientation to detail, a willingness to work long hours, and strong oral and written communication skills.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience in the real estate and/or finance field required
  • Experience with real estate oriented financial and modeling software is helpful (e.g., Argus, Yardi, etc.)
  • A real estate salesperson or broker’s license is not required, but is a plus
  • Strong quantitative skills and established analytical ability
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting and financial statement analysis
  • Demonstrated interest in capital markets and commercial real estate
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
