Roseville-based firm adds CPA Anthony Smith to provide financial guidance to portfolio companies
Roseville, CA – DCA Partners (“DCA”), the region’s leading investment bank and affiliated private equity firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Smith, CPA, to its growing staff. Mr. Smith is DCA’s fourth new hire in 2021.
Mr. Smith serves as DCA’s first dedicated Fund Accountant. In this role, he is responsible for investment fund accounting and, more importantly, the compilation, review, and assessment of portfolio company operating and financial metrics.
Prior to joining DCA, Mr. Smith worked as a Senior Accountant for United Auburn Indian Community (UAIC). While at UAIC, Mr. Smith developed reporting to monitor and analyze the performance of the company’s investment portfolio. He previously worked as a Senior Accountant for Enterprise Holdings.
“Anthony’s financial experience and analytical skillset will provide significant value-added advice and feedback for our portfolio companies and, as a result, substantial benefits for our Funds’ Limited Partners,” said Casey Layton, Chief Financial Officer at DCA.
DCA’s elevated level of sophistication, combined with its intense but highly collaborative company culture, made the firm an appealing next step for Mr. Smith’s career. “There are opportunities at DCA to grow not only as an individual, but as a team,” stated Mr. Smith. “I am eager to build on the robust technological resources and sweat equity that have already been put into motion.” DCA’s third private equity Fund became quickly oversubscribed and the firm is currently exploring the possibility of increasing its maximum Fund size in order to accommodate additional Limited Partners who have expressed interest in the Fund.
DCA Partners is seeking to hire at least two additional positions this year: an Investment Banking Vice President and a Real Estate Investment Analyst. Interested candidates can contact DCA at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
