Roseville, CA – Flyers Energy, LLC announced this week its acquisition of Quick Fuel, an automated fuel-sites business previously owned by Jacobus Energy, Inc. DCA Partners, a long-time M&A advisor to Flyers Energy, served as the buy-side financial advisor on the acquisition.

The acquisition of Quick Fuel’s 49 fuel sites across 15 states significantly expands Flyers’ cardlock fuel-sites business, which are designed exclusively for commercial vehicles, providing drivers a time-efficient fuel stop.

“Flyers Energy was primarily focused on regional acquisitions, but Quick Fuel presented a unique opportunity for national expansion,” said Curt Rocca, Managing Partner of DCA Partners, “The acquisition represents a significant strategic move for the company.” Flyers Managing Partner, Walt Dwelle, added, “Our vision for commercial fueling growth was to own or control sites from coast to coast.”

Founded in 1919, Quick Fuel remained family owned for four generations. Flyers Energy has offered Quick Fuel employees renewed employment opportunities, allowing them to continue working in their current roles. Flyers will continue to operate the newly acquired fuel stations under the existing Quick Fuel brand.

Flyers has significantly grown their reach through fuel and lubricant company acquisitions over the last two decades.
