Trevor Sanders
Restaurant & Retail
Trevor Sanders is a seasoned entrepreneur and specialist in restaurant and retail operations. Trevor started his career in retailing as Jamba Juice’s 8th employee and helped the company grow from one store in San Luis Obispo to be an iconic, national brand. As a reward for his hard work in building Jamba’s corporate infrastructure, the company allowed Trevor to open a franchise store in 1999 at a time when Jamba did not franchise units. Trevor grew his Jamba Juice operation from that one store to 23 stores covering Northern California, Northern Nevada as well as one store in Las Vegas. Trevor’s group, Sanders Liquid Sunshine, was recognized as a leader in community involvement, as well as for its exceptional operating results; performing 10% better than the company stores on top line sales and 5% on bottom line profitability. In September of 2007, Trevor sold his stores back to Jamba Juice at a premium valuation. Concurrently with growing his Jamba Juice franchise, Trevor also started and ran a tenant improvement construction company, SSW construction, specializing in retail and restaurant tenant improvements. During this same time frame, Trevor partnered with local restauranteur, Bobby Coyote, to open a Dos Coyotes fast-casual restaurant in the East Sacramento area, which he continues to operate.
Trevor is also very involved in the community having served as a board member for the Chamber of Commerce in Roseville for three years. In addition, he serves on the board of the Eureka Schools Foundation having co-chaired their highly successful golf tournament for three years. Trevor is an active Dad who enjoys time with his family; wife Jenni, son Ryder (11) daughter Scout (9). He is an active soccer coach for his son and spends many Saturdays at swim meets for his kids.
