Roger Dell brings nearly 25 years experience in financial and operational disciplines to the Professionals in Residence program. He has served as Chief Operating Officer for large and small companies across a broad array of industries, ranging from a 23-year old industry leader in the legal services space to a startup wireless multimedia company. As co-Head of Business Development for Citigroup’s Consumer Bank in Asia-Pacific Roger focused on the strategic acquisitions in the financial services industry. Previously, he also served as a Director at GE Equity (GE Capital’s private equity arm), where he made direct equity investments in software services and microchip packaging companies. He has closed multi-billion dollar non-recourse project financings and restructured and worked out troubled investments. Trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Roger’s experience includes paper mills, robotics manufacturers, industrial construction and waste-to-energy process environments, as well as the other industries mentioned above.
Roger is a strong operations and finance leader with international experience. He thrives on making a business stronger, more focused on its core competencies, more productive, more customer responsive and more engaging for employees. He is passionate about fostering sources of value and mitigating uncertainty. Roger lives in Roseville with his wife of 24 years and college-aged son and daughter.
