Prior to joining DCA, Mr. Pocock was an Investment Banking Intern at Alpha Capital Holdings, Inc., a boutique investment bank focused on Chinese M&A. While there, Mr. Pocock assisted a major Chinese telecom company with an acquisition in the internet of things industry.
Mr. Pocock also interned in equity research at Stifel Nicolaus in the Cohl Hosick Group, with a focus on the large-cap consumer and interactive entertainment sectors. Additionally, Mr. Pocock interned as a Research Analyst at Taylor Frigon Capital Management, where he analyzed prospective investments in high-growth public businesses.
Mr. Pocock graduated Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2016, with a B.S. in Agricultural Business and a minor in Art History. During his four years, he was actively involved on campus, founding the Future Charterholders of Cal Poly Club and serving as Team Lead for the CFA Research Challenge, a competition where his team placed in the top 5% out of teams from 1,000+ universities.
